Viral Video Contest Upload

  • Submission Agreement Form
    This Submission Agreement ("Agreement") governs all submissions in connection with the Thrust Hostels Viral Video Contest (the "Contest"). This Agreement is between you, as the person making a submission to the Contest, and Thrust Hostels ("Thrust"), as the Contest Sponsor. In consideration of Thrust reviewing your film in connection with the Contest, you agree as follows:
    1. Eligibility. You represent that you are currently a college/university student enrolled in an accredited college/university program. If selected as a finalist, you agree to submit proof of eligibility, if requested by Thrust.
    2. Originality. You represent and warrant that: (a) the film you are submitting to the Contest (your "Entry") is your original creation; (b) you have the full right and authority to submit the Entry to the Contest and to grant the rights as provided in this Agreement; (c) that your Entry does not violate the rights of any other person, including, without limitation, any copyright, trademark, patent, privacy or publicity, or contractual rights; and, (d) if your Entry includes any materials you do not own, such as music, photos, or videos, or includes photos or images of any person, you have obtained necessary permission for use and submission of your Entry to the Contest.
    3. Permission. You grant to Thrust a non-exclusive, irrevocable, perpetual, fully-paid, royalty-free, sub-licensable, worldwide license to use your Entry, for the Contest and for any other purpose, including without limitation publicity and promotion of the Contest and/or Thrust, in all media now known or later developed, including without limitation print, electronic and digital, with or without attribution. Such use may include, but is not limited to, reproducing, distributing, adapting, publicly displaying and performing, circulating to all print media, television, and Internet, and making your Entry available to the public for downloading, free-of-charge, by such means as placing it on the Internet site of the Contest or other social media, offering it at the final screening and including it on a DVD along with other entries. You agree that Thrust may use your name, biographical information, and photo or likeness in connection with Thrust’s exercise of the rights granted herein. Except for the permission granted Thrust under this Agreement, you retain all rights in and ownership of your Entry.
    4. Tax Liability. You understand that receipt of any prize from the Contest may have tax consequences. You agree that any and all tax liability for participation in the Contest is your sole responsibility. Thrust will report any and all prizes as required by federal, state or local law.
    5. General. You agree that your participation in the Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. This Agreement will be interpreted and enforced in accordance with the law of the State of Florida applicable to agreements made and performed entirely in that state by persons domiciled therein, and the venue for any legal action will be the Miami-Dade County Courthouse, Florida or, if federal jurisdiction is required, the federal district court for the Southern District of Florida.
    You agree to provide Thrust with a valid email address for notification of the contest results. Award plaques, prizes and notifications will be sent to the LGBTQ group/organization with which each winner is affiliated for official announcement and/or distribution.
